The 2nd Annual Soup Bowl Benefit will take place on Sat., Feb. 4, 2012 at Maryland Community Church (4700 State Rd.46), 5:00-7:00 pm (doors open at 4:30).

The benefit is a collaborative effort by artists, individuals, restaurants, businesses, and student groups to help raise awareness of hunger issues in the Wabash Valley, as well as provide financial support to Terre Haute Catholic Charities Food bank which serves approximately 32,000 individuals annually through its member agencies in 7 counties. Providence Pantry is one of the Member Agencies.

Tickets are on sale now at the Deanery Center and Catholic Charities offices at 1801 Poplar Street ($25 handcrafted bowl + soup, $6 disposable bowl + soup). For information, call 812-232-8400 (Deanery Center).
